We are proud to announce our successful CSIA certification for the fifth time! The process for certification was truly a team effort. Almost everyone at NorthWind had a hand in the audit preparation, from either writing documentation, giving valuable input on procedures and policies, or making suggestions for improvement. This great accomplishment could not have happened without the dedication and hard work of all NorthWind employees.
To become certified, a system integration company must show that they conform to the Benchmarks and Best Practices laid out by the Control System Integrators Association. The Best Practices and Benchmarks cover all areas of the business including:
- General Management
- Human Resources
- Sales and Marketing
- Financial Management
- Project Management
- Supporting Activities
- Quality Management
- Service and Support
- Info Systems Management and Cyber Security
NorthWind personnel from every department worked with Martha Bray, NorthWind’s Technical Writer, to ensure the proper documentation and supporting evidence was written, assembled and met best practices for the audit. The audit took place in Sabetha, at NorthWind’s office. The audit was conducted June 23 and 24th by Exotech auditor, Jack Barber.
