NorthWind Keynotes at Palantir AIPCon 4: Factory Automation Meets AI

NorthWind CEO, Mike Bosworth, presented at Palantir Technology’s AIPCon 4 on June 6th. NorthWind has been collaborating with Palantir to deliver AI solutions for our customers in the manufacturing industry. We foresee numerous areas where AI will benefit manufacturers, enhancing efficiency at every turn. Mike’s presentation at AIPCon focused on two modules developed to address the shortage of skilled labor in the workforce.

NorthWind Presents at Palantir’s AIPCon

Our AI solution uses technology to provide access to process and project knowledge and to an expert’s problem-solving skills. The presentation focused on two of our modules PlantIQ™ Assistant and AlarmIQ™. PlantIQ™ Assistant is a comprehensive and interactive chat tool with the ability to search across internal information, manuals, and training information to answer production and process related questions. AlarmIQ™ provides an in-depth analysis of devices, alarms, and events.

We’re embedding this technology into our control systems and production software allowing our customers to access sophisticated AI tools. This will empower their employees to make better, more timely decisions and effectively reduce downtime, resulting in increased efficiency and considerable cost savings.


To say we’re excited about these developments is an understatement, we cannot wait to see how these tools enhance the manufacturing process!
